Standing in the corner of a dark room
Anger from the pain building inside of me
Feel like I'm gonna break fire soon
Lies and deceit unleashed darkness in me
And I've laid in your tub full of blood
Held me down choking the life of me
Scared to look you in the eye or even run
I've had enough of fearing to speak
Day by day night by night walking in fear

I thought love was supposed to be this way
That bruised skin was a punishment I deserved
That I was made to live my life to obey
That my unwilling body was yours to be served
Years of holding in all the pain inside
The nights I cried wishing it would be over soon
The times I've felt I've wanted to let go and die
Wishing someone would save me from you

I have a love for writing and reading. I created this website to share what goes on in this strange mind of mine and to express. I'm inspired by the imperfections in our world as those imperfections in humanity and life are what's real and true as well as beautiful.
