He came in like a broken warrior
Said he'd been travelin' for miles
Thought the signs couldn't be clearer
Swept me into his crescent smile
My heart raced faster and harder
My days were happy with love and laughter
He made me believe in happily ever after
Until his wandering mind traveled farther
I don't know what hit me harder
Seeing your smile as you held her hand
Or why I wasn't enough oh I wonder

Was the love I gave all too much
Did I stumble more than you cared to catch

I was lost in an epic trance
